I have three sets of five tubers which need to be kept in a dark, dry place until March/April when it will be warm enough to get my three potato barrels on the go!
I have been sent three different varieties (early, middle and late cropping) ... I can't wait to get started on these!
I'm hoping we'll do potatoes next year. They are something I tend to eat most days, even if only a jackpot and there's something wonderful about going to the end of the garden and bringing in the lunch. Hoping to see a few more bees next year though - that's what will get us in the end - not enough bees ...
