Introducing Baby Plum

Here she is!

Baby Plum.

Born Friday 20 August at 1523, weighing in at 8lbs 14 (too many afternoon teas?!)

In the end she came along on her own ... after a 3 mile walk along the River Wandle in South London on Thursday ... I have to say that I was relieved not to have to go through being induced. We are both back home now after a couple of days in hospital.

Isn't she a beauty?

I've already sent my congratulations via facebook....I trust that Mr Plum passed them along?

She's adorable!

And so pleased that you didn't have to go through the induction, although I see you weren't brave enough to try the castor oil?! lol

And what a pretty little plum she is too! Well done on a great birth Mrs Plum. I was wondering how long you would keep us in suspence for. As for those afternoon teas... who cares! Hope you didn't pay too much for them on her entrance though. Enjoy her lots and have a little sniff for me would you. I love that newborn smell. It's just such a warm homely scent.

she is very gorgeous and perfect , those afternoon teas obviously suited her :-) If I have learnt anything from having 3 little ones it is to relax, and enjoy the early weeks as much as possible - don't start rushing around, just enjoy as they grow oh so quickly. x
